MOSGIEL COURT
A sitting of the Mosgiel Court was held yesterday before Mr J. ItBartholomew, S.M. In the following undefended claims judgment was given lor the plaintiffs with costs:—A. Chadwick v: Douglas Macintosh, £4 8s Od, goods supplied; W. R. Blair v. D. Jackson. £1 9s, services rendered G. W. Stevenson v. Maurice M. Marty, £2 11s Id, goods supplied; Alexander Ralston v. Itrnest M‘lntosh, £5 12s fid, goods supplied Gladys Sellwood and Joyce Cruden were each fined -s for rid.ng bicycles on a footpath. Russell Knox was fined 10s and costs (10s) f-r motor speeding, and for a similar offence John Douglas Montgomery Hogg was fined £2 and costs |l2s). and James Douglas Rcdmayno Dyer 30s and costs (10s). William James Conghlae was fined us and costs (10s) for not having a warrant of fitness; Thomas Bell and Arthur Bell, 10. s and costs (10s) for not having a heavy traffic license; John Morrison, 10s and costs (245) for not having a driving license and driving an unregistered car; Graham Coal Company, 30s and costs (10s) for not having a heavv traffic license; and M. Stevenson Ltd., 10s and costs (10s) for exceeding axle loading.
