INSTITUTE OF ARCHITECTS
OTAGO BRANCH The annual general meeting of the Otago branch of the N.Z.I.A. was held yesterday, when there was a good attendance of members. The chairman (Mr H. M'Dowell Smith) briefly addressed the meeting, covering the activities of the branch during the past year. Mr J, L. Salmond expressed the appreciation and thanks of members for the services so freely rendered by the committee on behalf of the branch and the profession as a whole. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—Chairman, Mr O. E. Macfic; vice-chairman, Mr N. Y. A. Wales; acting secretary and treasurer, Mr N. Y. A. Wales; committee —Messrs H. Mandeno H. M'Dowell Smith, E. S. C. Miller, J. H. White. R. H. Fraser. C. Muir, L. D. Coombs; librarian, Mr C. Dunning; auditors, Messrs J. S. M'lnnes and Sons.
