SOCIALS. OTAGO PROVINCIAL PATRIOTIC COUNCIL. DANCE AND SOCIAL TO SOLDIERS OF 4th REINFORCEMENTS. TO-MORROW (THURSDAY) NIGHT. THE above Council has arranged to entertain Officers and Men of the 4th Reinforcements now on leave at a Dance and Social in the Main Town Hall, TOMORROW (THURSDAY) NIGHT, 28th inst., at 8.30 o’clock. All members of the Reinforcements, together with partner and family relatives, are cordially invited to be present. Members of the Air Force are also heartily invited to attend. The programme will be under the direction of Mr Joe Brown, and will consist of dances, interspersed with items by “ Spud ” Murphy and other artists, including a ballet by the “ Happy Feet Ballet ” (40 girls). Music will be by Wright’s Rhythm Baud. A light buffet supper will be provided. The gallery will be available to the general public. Admission is entirely free and tickets are not needed.
