3,000 ATTEND FUNERALS [Per United Press Association.) GREYMOUTH, November 8. The funerals of the five victims of the. Ten Mile mine disaster, which took place at Karoro Cemetery, Greymouth, this afternoon were attended bv 3,000 mourners from all parts of the West Coast, making the largest cortege seen in the district for 10 years. The Minister of Mines (Mr Webb) represented the Government, and Mr J. O’Brien, M.P., and Hon. J. Ryal, M.L.C., were amongst the mourners. Several hundred wreaths were placed on the graves. »

Amongst the messages of sympathy received was one from the Prime Minister (Mr Fraser). The condition of the injured men, Adam Boote and William Burnett, continues to show improvement, both being out of danger.
