MOSGIEL COURT
At the monthly sitting of the Mosgiel Court yesterday, the following eases were dealt with hv Mr J. 1!, Barthuloiiiov, 5.31. Judgment hv default was given for J. IS. Turnbull in a claim against 31.
D. Harvey, for goods supplied, £2 l”s, with costs (£1 6s Cd). Janet Stevenson was fined 10s and costs (10s) for allowing cattle to wander on the road at Owhiro.
William Whitworth Robinson was fined 5s and costs (335) for allowing waste water to flow on to a neighbour’s property at Brighton—a breach of tha by-law.
The Bryant Transport Company Ltd. Meredith May Jopson, and Thomas James Finnic were each fined 10s and costs (10s) for operating heavy motor vehicles without the necessary licenses. James Arthur Wilson was fined £2 and costs (Ills) for speeding; and Ding Chew Cheung, for not having a warrant of fitness was fined 10s and costs (11s).
