DRAPERY FIRE
CAMAGE £2,000 [Pek United Press Association.l ASHBURTON, November 9. A lire at the store room of Segers Ltd., drapery store, last night caused damage at present estimated at £2,000. Kapoc mattresses and men’s suits on the first story were burned, and linoleums and general drapery on tha ground floor were damaged by watei The upper story of the building, owned by tbe Borough Council, was gutted. Both building and stock were insured, but much of the stock is irreplaceable.
