TEMPORARY PROMOTIONS [Per United Press Association-.] WELLINGTON, November 7. Colonel F. T. Bowerbank, DirectorGeneral of Medical Services, Army Headquarters, has been _ granted the temporary rank of brigadier while holding his (present appointment. A notice to this effect was gazetted to-night. Lieutenant-colonel I. S. Wilson, as-sistant-director of medical services, Arm)' Headquarters, is granted the temporary rank of colonel, aim Lien-tenant-colonel B S. Finn. Director ol Dental Services. Army Headquarters, is "ranted the temporary rank of colonel while holding his present appointment. „ _ On the Now Zealand Staff Corps, Colonel E. Put tick is granted the tem-
porary rank of brigadier, and Colonel 11. Miles, of the Royal New Zealand Artillery, is also granted the temporarv rank of brigadier. Major I. R. Witholl, Now Zealand Army Ordnance Corps, has been appointed chief inspector of munitions, in addition to his appointment as inspecting ordnance officer.
