JUVENILE MISHAPS
[Pee United Press Association.] WANGANUI, November 8. No fewer than five Waitotara children have met with serious accidents in the last fortnight. The small son of Mr and Mrs R. Pedersen fell into a bucket of hot water and was badly scalded about the arms and body. He is making good progrees. . A rope attached to a calf be- / came entangled round the body and neck of Mary Connor, while the calf careered round the paddock. When picked up her condition was serious, but artificial respiration was used, and her condition is now satisfactory. The two small sons of Mr E. W. Lee obtained gunpowder from thmr schoolmates, and attached a fuse to it. When it did not go oil they went to investigate.
