PARENTS AND BOYS AT BANQUET One of the important features of the activities of the local T.M.C.A. is the annual father, mother, and son banquet. Last night, when it was held in the gymnasium, there was an attendance of about 150 boys and parents. Mr M. C. Henderson was in the chair, and associated with him were the mayor (Mr A. H. Allen) and a, number of supporters of the association. After supper had been served the followin'' toast. list was honouredDunedin ” (proposed by Mr ,T. H. Don Miljcr and responded to bv the mayor), “lather (Arnold .Tones— Mr C. d. Darracott), “Mother” (Ron Gilbert—Mrs E. Aslin). A brief address was delivered by the Rev. G. Crozier, and during the evening on enjoyable programme of vocal instrumental and elocutionary items was presented.
