BEATTIE.—On August 16, 1940, at Dunedits, Margaret, beloved wife of the late Qeorge Alexander Beattie, 88 Russell street. and loved mother of Jim (Wellington), Jessie, and Margaret' Beattie. Deeply mourned.—The Funeral will leave the residence on Monday, the 19th inst., at 2 p.m., for the. Anderson’s Bay Cemetery. —Hope and Kinaston, funeral directors. HALL.—On August 8, at Christchurch, Nellie, dearly loved wife of Herbert Hall, 123 Jerrold street, Addington; in her fiftysixth year. Late of Mosgiel, Dunedin. MITCHELL.—On August 16, 1940, at Dunedin, 17/141 Charles (Chook) Mitchell (Main Body, N.Z.E.F.), youngest son of the late Peter and Helen Moir Mitchell, 7 Patrick street. Interred this day at Southern Cemetery.—-Hope and Kinaston, funeral directors. ROGERS.—On August 17th, at Greymouth, Alice Manwell, wife late George Broadley, Port Chalmers. Deeply mourned. ROGERS.—On August 16, 1940, at G revmouth, Alice Manwell Rogers (formerly Broadley, of AJhx road. Port Chalmers); aged 57 years.—The Funeral will leave the residence of her son (W. Broadley), Hugh street. Sawyers Bay, on Monday, the 19th inst.. at 3.15 p.m., for the Port Chalmers Cemetery.—R. M'Lran and Son, funeral directors.
