WASTE NOT, WANT NOT.—The London Passenger Transport Board has made an appeal to bus and tram passengers not to throw away used tickets, but to place them in the receptacles provided on the vehicles. It is pointed out that the tickets represent four tons of paper a day, which should be saved to be made up again. The photo shows piles of old tickets returned to the makers to be used again.
