SECOND GRADE TOURNAMENT WINNERS Y.W.G.A. i. The annual tournament for the Tournament Banner was played at Logan Park, under excellent weather conditions. The tournament was played in two sections, the draw being made out with seven teams in each section. Unfortunately two teams defaulted in each, this necessitating a long spell between some of the games, which somewhat marred the enjoyment <>£ the fixture. Y.W.C.A. I. and_ Albany I. tied for first place in section 1.; Y.W.C.A. I. being victorious in the play-off, the fimal score being 4-3. Ravensbourne won its section with the maximum number of points. The final game was keenly contested, play being fast but marred by inaccuracy of the forwards. The final score was Y.W.C.AI. 2, Ravensbourne 1.
TRAINING COLLEGE A v. KIWI. Training College A defeated Kiwi by 21 goals to 13. The game was fast and open, with both sides attacking strenuously and carrying play to their respective goals in a very finished manner College obtained a lead in the first half, which it maintained throughout, slightly increasing it before the final whistle was blown. Half-time score was: Training College 10, Kiwi 6; and the final 21-13, still in favour of College. . , „ , Mrs E. M'Aughtne controlled the •game. Y.W.C.A. I. v, ALBANY. Y.W.C.A. and Albany met on Logan Park court 2, the game being characterised by high scoring, especially m the second half. Both teams fielded emergencies. Half-time found Y.W.C.A. I. leading by two goals, the final score being: Y.W.C.A. I. 28. xklbany I. 21. Miss J. Clayton controlled the game. REPRESENTATIVE TRIALS.
