A petition has also been received from 38 employees of the Hillside Workshops requesting a reinstatement of the 4.30 p.m. bus from the Hillside Workshops to Kaikorai Valley via Glen road. They point out tjiat the bus required for this trip has to proceed from the sheds to take up running from Kaikorai Valley, and, since the withdrawal of the service from Hillside, now travels empty.
