ONSLOW CLUB The first round of the knock-out competition for the Margaret Adair Cup was plaved yesterday, and resulted as follows Mrs A. J. Holloway defeated Mrs C. S. Maclean, 5 and 4; Mrs J. Howley defeated Mrs H. Adams. 9 and 7- Mrs W. Pinkham defeated Mrs H. Halliday. 4 and 3; Mrs Alan Jones defeated Mrs C. E. Begg, 3 and 2; Mrs A. C. Swanson defeated Mrs Ibbotson, 4 and 2; Mrs H. Grant defeated Mrs N. Show, 2 up.
