GOOD TEMPLARY

There was a good attendance at the meeting of the itescue Lodge, No. 105, held on Tuesday evening in the Methodist Sunday School, Wesley street, Bro. W. G. lies (Chief Templar) presiding. One candidate was initiated and a member received on clearance card. The superintendent of juvenile work again submitted an encouraging report on the work in the juvenile department. The Chief Templar extended a welcome to Bro. Ted Brooks, on leave from Trenbham camp. Bro. Brooks gave an interesting account of camp life, and extended greetings from Centenary Lodge and Ever-faithfnl • Juvenile Temple, Petone. The members were entertained at supper by Bro. R. Leathley on the occasion of his birthday. Congratulations were extended to the brother, who was also thanked for his hospitality. The Star of the South Juvenile Temple, No. 15, met the same evening, when Bro. R. Elliott, Chief Templar, presided over a large attendance. Two candidates were initiated, and Bro. Ted Brooks delivered an interesting account of camp life. An interesting programme which consisted of sacred solos, duets, and temperance recitations was supplied by members, the chaplain being in charge of the programme.
