FAILURE TO NOTIFY AUTHORITIES THREE ALIENS FINED [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, July 5. The necessity of aliens complying with the regulations as regards their change of address was stressed by the magistrate, Mr Stilwell, when Eugene Gold, described as an Hungarian by birth, and his wife Hertha ; of German birth 1 , pleaded guilty to failing to notify their change of address. The wife also pleaded guilty to being absent without permission. The magistrate said that privileges were extended to these people, and while it might be annoying to them to comply with the provisions it was definitely necessary. Each was fined £5. The wife was also ordered to pay costs on the second-charge. : Ferdinand von Liechtenstein, described as a native of Poland, for failure to notify the change of his address was fined £5 and costs.
