She would also find plenty of work if she joined the St. John Ambulance sewing guild, which is doing a splendid work to help this country. She boasts of holding a first aid certificate. Why not further her studies and qualify for a V.A.D., as they are urgently needed? There is no need to wait till some man enlists and vacates his job before she can help her country.—l am, etc., V.A.D. J uly 4.
