TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —If “ Eager to Work ” is sincere in wanting to help her country, and pot wishing , foi; fmanciaj, £aiaa t she
would find plenty of work if she applies to the Patriotio or the Red Cross Societies. She would also find plenty of work if she joined the St. John Ambulance sewing guild, which is doing a splendid work to help this country. She boasts of holding a first aid certificate. Why not further her studies and qualify for a V.A.D., as they are urgently needed? There is no need to wait till some man enlists and vacates his job before she can help her country.—l am, etc., V.A.D. J uly 4.
