MAYFAIR

‘ When To-morrow Comes,’ featuring Irene Dunne and Charles Boyer, is to finish to-night at the Mayfair. The second film is ‘ Ride, Ranger, Ride,’ a Western musical production featuring Gene Autry. DONAT’S ‘ MR CHIPS.’ Robert Donat plays a great role brilliantly in ‘ Goodbye, Mr Chips ’ which will be the new attraction at the Mayfair to-morrow. In this film, which is the story of the rise from obscurity and despair of a young schoolmaster to the trusted confidant of all pupils in his later years, Donat is transformed in the final stages into an old man, which is a masterpiece of acting on his part.
