ST. PETER’S CHURCH
ANNUAL MEETINC The annual meeting of parishioners of St. P.eter’s Church was held on Thursday, the vicar, the Rev. A. B. Pywell, presiding. The vicar’s report disclosed a year of considerable activity in which there has been a substantial increase in communicants. Twentythree persons had been confirmed and 30 baptised, while there had been 22 marriages. The statement of accounts showed an increase in collections and a consequent reduction in overdraft. The Debt Extinction Fund appeal had reached £l5O, leaving £2OO needed to bring it to a successful conclusion. The following officers were appointed:—Church wardens, Messrs H. C. Flinders (vicar’s) and W. R. D. Homan (peoples’); vestry men, Messrs J. J. Friend, W. G. Hook, A. B. Hill, H. C. King, W. T. Milward, C. T. Price, G. Saxton, C. L. Sherlock, H. J West, and T. D. White,
