Curtin, to-day conferred with Coalmine Union leaders, who are returning to Sydney foi 1 their meeting to-morrow. He strongly urged them to induce the miners to return to work as an essential condition of their dispute being taken up by the Arbitration Court. The Prime Minister, Mr 11. G. Menzies, later told the House of Representatives that the Government would wait until to-morrow afternoon for the decision of the miner’s executive before introducing regulations to reopen the coal mines with free labour.
