ACTIVITY IN CANADA THEE ARRESTS MADE TORONTO, May 1. (Received May 2, at 12.5 p.m.) Th© Fire Marshal (Mr W. J. Scott) said German saboteurs wore active in Ontario and were operating in conjunction with German Consuls iu tho United States. There had been three arrests and other instances of attempted sabotage from which the damage was trilling. In the main tho damage was to property and machinery. For example, small screws were dropped into machinery and transformers had been damaged. He added that two unsuccessful attempts had been made to destroy liners leaving a Canadian port.
