POSITION IN NORWAY. LONDON, April 29.—Unconfirmed' Swedish' reports state that the Allies landed large forces at ports on Nord Fiord, CO miles bouth-west from Audulsnes, and on the Sundals Fiord, 30 miles north-oast from Andalsnes. Tho Sundals Fiord troops were sent to reinforce and consolidate the defences of tho Damaas-Storon railway, Tho troops which landed on Nord Fiord proceeded to Otta in tho Gudbrandsal Valley. Largo quantities of anFi-aireraft guns and planes were ; also landed. AOTEAROA AT SYDNEY. Amid scenes of groat enthusiasm, the flying boat Aotearoa landed at Rose Bay (Sydney Harbour) at 1.18 p.m. (3.18 New Zealand, timo), .thus covering the 1,348-mile stretch of ocean between Auckland and Sydney in 9hr Bmin actual flying time. "Weather conditions for the flight were good, and no trouble of any nature Was experienced. INTEREST-FREE LOANS. Interest-free loans total £1,801,053. To-day's acknowlbdgment includes £IOO,OOO by the State Fire and Accident Insurance Department.—Press Association.
