MOSGIEL METHODISTS

MINISTER’S INDUCTION . The Rev. G. Densem was inducted as minister of the Mosgiel Methodist Church by the Rev. R. Patchett, of Caversham. Mr J. R. Brown extended a welcome to Mr and Mrs Densem on behalf of the church members, and Mrs G. Hughes spoke on behalf of the Ladies’ Guild. The Rev. Mr Macfarlane (Presbyterian), the Rev. Mr Simpson (Baptist), and Adjutant Creighton (Salvation Army), also expressed a welcome. Mr Densem returned thanks for the welcome and asked the members to rally round him and help in the congregational work in Mosgiel. Last evening the Mosgiel Returned Soldiers’ Association attended tho Methodist Church in a body, when a special service was held.
