Messrs Chas. Begg and Co.:Ltd. recently forward to Lord Bledisloe, former Governor-General of New Zealand, a copy of their ‘ Famous Maori Songs,’* an attractive album containing wellknown Maori melodies and coloured ' pictures of Maori life and Dominion, scenery. Lord Bledisloe has replied aa follows:—“ Many thanks for your mos| remarkable and beautiful publication- * Famous Maori Songs. M- am entranced with it. If I could be sure of doing so, I should like to order at, least 13 copies for my relatives and friends.
