SUNDAY BROADCASTS
PROTEST AGAINST POLITICAL PROPAGANDA ("Per United Press Association.] NAPIER, March 15. The Congregational Assembly resolved to protest against the use of commercial broadcasting stations on Sunday evenings for the circulation of political propaganda as likely to create feelings and divisions quite contrary to the spirit of the day. The assembly expressed the wish that none of its members, ministers or lay men, should speak Under the auspices of the station. The Rev. C. Cl Hoskin, of Newtown, Wellington, was elected' chairman for the next year. The assembly pledged itself, to support every legitimiate effort to win a just andl lasting peace.
