TOWN HALL DANCE

Large crowds of both spectators and dancers still continue to patronise this popular rendezvous. Last Saturday night over 1,500 people attended. Both obi-time and modern dances are on the programme. The music is supplied by Dick Colvin’s band of nine players, with five vocalists—Miss Irene Brookes, jimmy M'Farlane, Arthur Waller, George Thorne, and Jack Priestly. The management has extended a free invitation to troops on leave. Spectators are admitted to the circle for a small 'charge.
