STRUGGLE IN PLANE

PASSENGER FALLS INTO HARBOUR PILOT'S TRYING EXPERIENCE Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright NEW YORK, March 14.

A fight above the harbour between the pilot of a training plane and a passenger ended in the latter’s death when the plane crashed into a bay. The pilot said that when over Brooklyn the passenger seized the dual control apparatus and threw the plane into a loop. He struck the passeriger on the head with a pair of pliers, and the latter apparently fell from the plane. The pilot was rescued from the sea by a tug. The police believe that the passenger, who is said to have been a former theatrical Press agent, deliberatly attempted to commit suicide, but instead was overcome by terror. They expressed the opinion that he hired the plane for that purpose.
