MORNINGTON CHAMPIONSHIPS
GEDDES’S OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE
The Mornington Harrier and Amateur Athletic Club concluded the summer season with a series of track and field championships. The outstanding'performers in the championships . were T., 0. Kennedy, W. N. Burrows, and J. L. Geddes. Kennedy, after a strenuous season of middle-distance running, showed his all-round ability by winning the A. H. Templeton Sprint Cup. Burrows had no difficulty in accounting for both the half-mile and one mile titles. Geddes accounted for no fewer than four titles, besides taking second place in the 100yds, 220yds, shot putt, and third in the 440yds. Results:—
