EXPANSION BILL PASSED Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright WASHINGTON, March 12. ‘ The House of Representatives has passed the Navy Expansion Bill. [On February 14 the Naval Affairs Committee submitted for consideration bv the. House of Representatives the 1941 Navy Supply Bill, totalling 966.722.000 dollars, which is 51,412,000 dollars above the 1940 total, but 11.699.000 dollars under the Budget estimates. The Bill includes funds to start 19 warships, to_ complete 97 already under construction, and to start the construction of 352 aeroplanes, with 1,000,000 dollars to improve the harbour facilities at Guam.]
