A SPLENDID LIST LATEST LIST OF CONTRIBUTORS [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, March 14. “ The splendid response to the call for financial assistance in .New Zealand’s war effort is additional proof of the national determination to assist in tho preservation of international justice and democratic rights,’’ said Mr Nash to-day. “It is again my pleasing duty to acknowledge further substantial loans free of interest, and cordially to thank tho givers. Those who have given much from their comparatively little, provide a splendid example to ail who have been more fortunate in the game of life. “ The £1,000,000 from the Bank of New Zealand, the £IOO,OOO from the South British Insurance Company Ltd., the thousands of £IOO from business, professional, and other circles, together with sums from those whose means are small, are an to everyone who has thought out the implications of the present struggle, and I am looking forward to a continuance of the effort between now and Easter. “ The full contribution of financial assistance free of interest amounts to over £1,190,000.” To-day’s list is as follows: South British Insurance Company Ltd.
