BOY SCOUTS.

TO THE EDITOR.

Sir,—On behalf of the Boy Scouts’ Association of Dunedin, we would like to thank the public of Dunedin for the splendid response to our recent street appeal. ’ In spite of the many appeals being made at present, the sum of £213 was collected, thus'helping us considerably to - carry_on in our work of training the boy in the ideals of manhood and _ citizenship according to the principles of the Scout movement. This is undoubtedly a work of vital national importance at the present time, and we are very grateful for this tangible evidence of public support.—We are, etc., Sik Percy R. Saegood (president). C. H. Wing (Metropolitan (Commissioner). L. A. Manning. (Metropolitan (Secretary). March 13.
