Head injuries caused by a fall of rock at the Danback quarry, whore he was employed,'caused the admission to the Dunedin Hospital of William Glover, aged 50 years, of Dunhack, at 5.45 yesterday afternoon. He was placed on the dangerously ill list. Sitting as coroner at the Port Chalmers Court to-day, Mr .1. 11. Bartholomew. S.M., heard formal evidence in respect to the cause of the fatality at Goat Island by which Gordon David Keenan was drowned. , Further evidenco will be taken in Dunedin.
