SOLDIERS OVERSEAS

SENDING OF PARCELS PAMPHLET GIVING ADVICE [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, February 23. The co-operation of the Army authorities, postal officials, and the Soldiers’ Financial Assistance Board has been sought in the final preparation of a pamphlet shortly to be issued by the National Patriotic Council giving advice to assist people sending parcels to soldiers overseas. This advice ip to include information on how to pack and bow not to pack parcels and suggestions as to what the parcels should contain. The pamphlet will also contain advice regarding the Soldiers’ Financial Assistance Board, Army pay pensions, and information concerning casualties. The pamphlet was originally intended to he issued to the next-of-kin, but it is now hoped to issue it to every householder.
