GANDHI S TALKS WITH VICEROY GENERAL SITUATION CLARIFIED Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright BOMBAY, February 10. Mr Gandhi, in an article in his paper, ‘ Harijan,’ expresses the opinion, that his meeting with the Viceroy (Lord Linlithgow) had clarified the situation. He said the negotiations had not closed, and the hour for civil disobedience had not yet been reached. Mr Gandhi says he does not doubt the sincerity of Lord Linlithgow, who is doing his utmost to understand the position of the Congress.
