((Received'January 23, at 11 a.m.) The King and Queen, who spent the week-end at Windsor Castle, returned to London to-day. , Speaking to-day at a meeting ot the Westminster Rational Savings Committee, the Financial Secretary to the Treasury, Mr Crookshank, stated that a special committee had been formed in the Royal household with the King’s approval as part of the already existing national savings group, and His Majesty had provided the initial funds for this committee’s work, and botli the King and Queen desired to make it as easy as possible for the staff of the household to particijiate in the savings movement.
