NAZI PREDICTIONS
PRESIDENT RODSEVELT MAY MEDIATE EFFORT TO KEEP NEUTRALS FROM WAR STOCKHOLM, January 22. (Received January 23, at 12.35 p.m.) The German Press gives prominence to predictions that President Roosevelt may mediate at any moment in order to prevent involving neutral countries in the war, which might endanger American neutrality. It states that presidential circles are debating whether aid to Finland will increase this risk, A Berlin message states that it is semi-officialiy announced that Germany is watching closely to see whether neutral countries more closely align themselves to the Allies.
