JUNIOR CRICKET
INTERPROVINCIAL TOURNAMENT . i In connection with the proposed interprovincial junior cricket tournament, which matter was discussed at Monday night’s meeting of the Otago Association’s committee, the secretary (Mr E. S. Wilson) has received word that Canterbury will definitely . be fielding a team. Auckland and Wellington are also to be represented, and a special meeting of the Otago committee is to be held to-morrow afternoon to consider the position. In the meantime clubs are being requested to nominate players under 21 years of age in October last who would be available to make this trip, and stating that such' players would he asked to make a small contribution towards their expenses. The suggested dates for the tournament’ are as follows: —December 27 and 28, Wellington v. Auckland, at Wellington; Canterbury v. Otago, at Christchurch. December 29 and 30, Wellington v. Otago, at Christchurch; Canterbury v. Auckland, at Christchurch. January .1 and 2, Wellington v. Canterbury, at Christchurch; Auckland t. Otago, at Christchurch.
