FAIR TO FINE , The following weather forecast was issued at noon by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, covering the southern districts:— The recent cyclone has moved away to the east and pressure is rising over tho North Island; Light to moderate and variable winds, with northerly later predominating. Weather fair to fine at first, but becoming unsettled to-morrow in the far south-west. Temperatures moderate to mild. Seal slight to moderate. LOCAL REPORT. Maximum temperature to-day, 64.5 deg.
