FEDERAL CABINET RECAST NEW PORTFOLIO.,CREATED Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright CANBERRA, November 12. Big changes in the Federal Cabinet, involving the splitting np of the administration of the three fighting services into separate Ministries, and the creation of a new post for defence coordination have been announced by the Prime Minister. Mr Menzies will take the portfolios of Defence and Co-ordination: Mr G. A. Street becomes solely Minister for the Army; Air J. V. Fairbairn becomes Minister' of Air; Sir Frederick Stewart becomes Minister for the Navy in addition to Minister of Health and Social Services; Air R. G. Casey remains Almister of Supply. ■ .. . A special committee of Alimsters will in future constitute in effect an Economic Cabinet. The War Cabinet will comprise Messrs Alenzies, Hughes. Casey, and Street, Sir Henry Gullett, Air Fairhairn, Senator Foil, the Acting-trea-surer, Air P. C. Spender, and Sir Frederick Stewart.
