ROLLER SKATING

Special attractions are advertised for to-morrow and Saturday evenings at the new He Luxe Rink, Filleul street, opposite the Town Hall, The World’s fastest game—hockey on skates—will be presented at 9.30 to-morrow night, when the representative match,' Wellington versus Otago, will take place. This should provide some interesting thrills. On Saturday evening the Otago skating championships will commence, with the first heat of the graceful skating championship. The second heat will be decided on the following Wednesday, with the final on Saturday, September 30. To-night’s session will extend from 7.30 to 10 o’clock. The rink opens each day at noon. Tuition is given at each session, in addition to private tuition (telephone 10-692).
