The interisland express steamer Rnngatira arrived at Lyttelton from Wellington at 6.40 this morning. Passengers and mails for the south connected with the express. COASTAL MOVEMENTS, Breeze sailed last night for Wellington and Wanganui via ports. Port Whangarei will sail to-night for Wellington, New Plymouth, and Wanganui via ports. Waiana left Auckland last Friday for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff, and is due here to-morrow morning. She will sail the next day for Bluff, thenoe Auckland via ports. Port Waikato is due ta-morrow morning from Wellington to load and sail in the evening for Tauranga, Auckland, and Whangarei via Timaru, Lyttelton, and Wellington. Kara is duo from Wellington to-mor-row morning to load and sail in the evening for Oamaru, Timaru, Wellington, Nelson, and New Plymouth. Holmdale is due from Wellington on Saturday to load and sail the same day for Oamaru, Timaru. Lyttelton, Wellington. Picton, and Wanganui. Gale is due on Saturday from Wellington, and after discharge will dock for annual overhaul. Poolta was to load at Westport on Monday for Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin, and Bluff, and is expected here about Sunday. Storm is due on Monday from Wellington to’ load and sail the same day for Timaru. Lyttelton, Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui. Wainui is due from Bluff on Tuesday to load and sail the same day for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Napier, and Gisborne. Waipiata is to leave Auckland on Monday for Lyttelton and Dunedin, and is due hero on September 29. Sim will sail the same day for Auckland via Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, and Wellington. UNSUBSIDISED VESSELS ORDERED IN UNITED STATES. The Sun Shipbuilding and Drydoek Company, Chester (Pa.), has received orders for the construction, without the aid of Government funds, of two vessels for Seatrain Lines, Inc. They are intended for a new weekly service between New York and Texas City, and will be of similar design to the Seatrain New York and Seatrain Havana, of 8,061 tons gross, but slightly larger, having a carrying capacity of 100 standard cars, or five more than the other two vessels. The Merchant Marine Act provides for financing tonnage for domestic service, bub these owners have preferred to undertake this project without becoming involved with United States Maritime Commission control. The two vessels, which are to be completed in about 12 months," will be the first large ships to he built unaided for United States domestic service since the lato ’twenties. The Seatrain New York and Seatrain Havana were built in 1932 by the Sun Company with the aid of a Shipping Board loan, and the third vessel of the fleet, the Seatrain New Orleans, was built by Swan, Hunter, and Wigham Richardson Limited, in 1928. Sailed: Foxton (3.30 p.m.), for Patea; Holmlea (4.45 p.m.), for Wellington; Port Waikato, for Dunedin. OAMARU, September 22.—Arrived: Breeze (6 a.m.), from Dunedin.
