ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS
CAR EXHAUST SUICIDE. A verdict that ho took his own life by poisoning while in a state of mental depression was returned by the coroner at the inquest at Hastings into the death of a married man, Graeme Leofric Home-Douglas, a journalist, aged 31. The body -was found in a bedroom of his residence in Havelock North on Tuesday. A car was backed against the wall outside the room, and a hose led from the exhaust through a window to an interior room.- The engine was still switched on. although it bad stopped. There was no benzine in the petrol tank
