SOUTH DUNEDIN COMMUNITY SING

The sing is experiencing a very successful season, and there will be on an average only six more. The committee regrets the delay last week in the “ Whangs,” but will endeavour next week to put them “ over.” Wednesday is to be “ Football Day,” and there will be over 140 visitors present. For the following week “ Old Favourites Day ” has been arranged. It will take the form of request day. Anyone wishing to send requests for this clay may do so. Songs from the days of the naughty nineties and the crinoline will be selected. On Wednesday little Mias Enid Heaps, of Mataura, will entertain with two piano-accordion solos, 1 Aotoaroa ’ and 1 The 'Bridle Hanging on the Wall.’ Two other young artists are Miss Verna Wahren and Miss Maureen Bishop, who will danca an .Irish jig.
