EXCHANGE FOR SUPPLIES
MANUFACTURERS GRAVELY CONCERNED [Peb United Press Association.] WELLINGTON. August 25.' The New Zealand Manufacturers* Federation issued the following statement to-day:—We have been keeping closely in touch with the Government and the Reserve Bank in the matter of availability of exchange for material* and supplies necessary for keeping thrf wheels of industry turning. The present position is causing the federation grave concern, hut before coming a considered opinion we are awaiting a further statement from the Government.
