REGISTERED NURSES
RECORD GATHERING FOR CENTENNIAL [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, August 24, One of the largest gatherings of the profession yet held in New Zealand is expected for the annual conference of the New Zealand Registered Nurses’ Association to be held in Wellington from February 13 to 17 at the time of the Centennial celebrations. Prominent overseas nurses have announced their intention of being present, and arrangements are being made for some' of these outstanding figures in the nursing world in other countries to take part in the discussions. Two combined educational and scemo tours have been-arranged, one in the North Island before the conference and the other in'the South Island during the subsequent week. The day before the official opening will be devoted to a reunion of all post-graduate nurses. I* is hoped' that student nurses will be represented by an even greater number than that which attended the 1939 con- - ference in Dunedin.
