THE ANNUAL MEETING [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, August 24. lloutine business was transacted at the annual meeting of the Now Zealand branch of the Empire Parliamentary Association to-day. The following office-bearers were elected:—Presidents, • the Speaker of the Legislative Council (Hon. M. Eagan) and the Speaker of the House of Representatives (Mr W. E. Barnard) ; vice-presidents—the-Prime Minister (Mr Savage), the Leader of the Opposition (Mr Hamilton), the Leader of the Legislative Council (Mr Wilson), Mr Forbes, Mr Coates, and Sir James Allen; honorary treasurer, Sir 11. Heaton Rhodes; honorary auditors, Mr W. J. Lyon and Mr W. Perry; honorary secretary, the clerk of Parliaments (Mr 0. M. Bothamley) ; Executive Committee —the Minister of Finance, (Air Nash), the Minister of Education (Mr P. Fraser), the. Chairman of Committees (Air R. Al'Keen), Sir Alfred Ransom, Air C. A.
