HANDICAPS FOR RACE MEETING

Following are tbe handicaps for thq Otago Hpht Club’s race meeting on September 2: —

SEAVIEW HURDLES, £145. One mile and a-half.

WINGATUI TROTTING HANDICAP, £l4O. Class 3.43. One mile and a-half.

QUALIFICATION RUNS. On account of a number of Wingta-tui-trained horses being qualified at the end of the season, several hunts were held on the Taieri this week. The qualification run on Monday was held over the property of Mr D. P. Wilson, Janefield, the following horses taking part:—Dandy (R. Harvey), Judy (T Dillon), Last Pal (L. Hunt), M'Heath (P, Anning) Hitler (H. Meldrum), and Bad News (L. Hunt). Two hunts were held on Tuesday afternoon, the first at North Taieri over the properties of Messrs J. Skinner and D. Connor, those qualifying being:—M'Heath (F. Anning), Bad News (L. Hunt), Dandy (H. Meldrum), Judy (T. Dillon), and Blackthorne (11. Harvey). The second run was heldl at Janefield over the property of Mr D. P. Wilson, the horses to qualify being , Bad News (L. Hunt), Blackthorne (R. Harvey), and Judy (W. Muirhead). The hunt yesterday was held on Mr Wilson’s Property those to qualify being Bad News (L. Hunt), Johnnie Walker (W. Muirhead), Judy (T. Dillon), and Blackthorne (R. Harvey).
