Cox Bros. Announces New Issue
Australian Scrip Closes Easier Sharp falls In practically all departments depressed Australian exchanges yesterday on news of the non-aggression pact between Germany and Russia. The declines were reflected on the local market this morning, when an appreciably easier tone marked movements in transtasman scrip. Dominion lines were again well supported, but a bare sales list was recorded. 6, J. Coles and Co. Ltd. opened 16 new stores during the year ended June 30 last, bringing the total in operation to 80. Details of the accounts are given on this page, Cox Bros. (Australia) Ltd. has declared a dividend of 15 per cent., as well as a new issue of two for five at par.
