COMMUNITY SING

To-morrow night’s big “ sing ” in the Town Hall is sure to attract many patrons. With “ Whang ” and Dr North as leaders a bright entertainment is assured and they will have with them plenty of talent to ensure a good variety. '* Spud ” Murphy is a host in himself and the pickson-Campbell Trio, the accordian specialists, put over some good numbers. Aidree Stewart, the piper, will render items with Kaikorai Band accompaniments, and Mr J. Hare is an accomplished performer. Not the least of the attractions offered is the Port Chalmers Harmonica Band, who usually are very well received. The proceeds of the silver coin collection will be in aid of the drive for funds for the Kaikorai Band arid Otago Women’s Hockey Association.
