SOUTH ISLAND CHAMPIONSHIPS RECORD MEETING AT OAMARU [From Our Oauard Correspondent.] There were 249 competitors at the South Island miniature rifle championship meeting at Oamaru on Saturday night from as far north as Christchurch and as far south as Tuatapere. Mrs Brown, of Pleasant Point, won the individual title, and also the ladies’ championship, with a double possible, including 15 inner bulls. City Guards (Invercargill) and Willowbridge tied in tho teams match, in which 40 teams competed, Willowbridge winning the shoot-off. Glcniti won the ladies’ teams match. The interasociation shield, presented by Messrs J. C. Faulkner and C. Andrew, went to North Otago No. 1. Results are as follows: INTERASSOCIATION MATCH.
